St Teath Parish Church Flower Festival 2010

The Rt Revd Tim Thornton presided and preached at our flower festival and his sermon gave us all food for thought. We could all associate ourselves with the things he said: He said he was worrier and could always find something to worry about. e.g. leaving his car in a car park and having to go back and check that it was locked. Another thing he commented on was meetings where there was always great difficulty in reaching decisions acceptable to all - but he was sure that didn't happen in St. Teath!
We much appreciated him giving of his time to be part of our festival and to talk to so many people both in the church and in the hall. It was as opportunity for all the village to meet and talk to our new bishop. Yvonne Tew

The theme of the festival for 2010 was Infinite Wisdom - in other words proverbs and sayings. Some very beautiful and innovative displays emerged, which you can view in the photos below.
