For the last two years the Fete on The Green has been favoured with warm sunny weather. In 2010 it was the hottest day of the year and in 2011 (above) we were lucky. Let's hope that the sun is smiling again this Saturday.

St Teath Arts Festival 2012

2 April 2012

The Festival will be held on 25th - 27th May in St Teath Church and Hall. It will include an exhibition and sale of paintings, sculture, crafts as well as a concert by St Teath Choir and supporting singers on the 26th. Admission to events is free. More»

Stainer's Crucifixion

John Stainer's Crucifixion will be performed by the augmented choirs of St Minver and St Teath on Saturday, 7th April at 7.30 pm in St Teath Church with Gareth Stubberfield, tenor, Gary Tucker, bass, Steve Tyrol, organist and directed by Andrew Millington.

Labrador Rescue Quiz Night

Thanks to everyone who supported the quiz in the White Hart last month. The magnificent amount of £245 was raised from team entry, the raffle and donations and this will go towards the costs of rehoming unwanted Labradors in Cornwall. Freezing!

The temperature dropped to -6°C on the 3rd February - the lowest we have recorded and even colder than the icy December of 2010. Frozen pipes have already been reported, but fortunately it is quite dry and there is no ice on the roads.

The Shaping and Toning Group

After the Christmas break, classes have resumed on Thursday morning from 9.30 to 10.30 in the Church Hall. Sessions are led by Chloe Mewton from one2one Fitness Gym in Wadebridge and are suitable for women of all ages and abilities.
